General entitlements

There are a number of different forms of assistance available to help with health costs. The easiest way to access this assistance is through the three major health subsidy cards and through enrolment with a Primary Health Organisation (PHO).Disability support
If you are assessed by a needs assessor at your District Health Board (DHB) or Needs Assessment Service Co-ordination (NASC) agency as needing disability support, you may be entitled to a package of funded disability support or assistance.Other assistance
