Accessing business discounts

The SuperGold Card is a cardholder's key to savings with the SuperGold Card Business Partners.

The best way to get value from the card is to use it at every opportunity, regardless of how small the purchase. 

To help gain the most out of the card, cardholders are encouraged to:

• take the card everywhere they go
• look for the "SuperGold Cards Welcome" stickers displayed by SuperGold Card Business Partners 
• show the card to receive discounts when shopping at SuperGold Card Business Partners.

Accessing government and local authority services, concessions and entitlements

The SuperGold Card also promotes easier access to government and local authority services and concessions, acting as a single entitlement card. 

The SuperGold Card replaces both the Community Services Card and NZ Super Card currently issued to New Zealand Superannuation and Veteran's Pension recipients.

The back of the new card clearly indicates whether a cardholder has entitlement to New Zealand Superannuation, the Veteran's Pension and/or a Community Services Card. This means these two other cards are no longer needed and may now be destroyed.
