The SuperGold Card is a convenient, multi-purpose card. This section of the SuperGold Card website provides general information about both the SuperGold and Veteran SuperGold versions of the card, their uses and benefits, and provides answers to some of the more common questions you might have about the card.
The SuperGold Card
The SuperGold Card is a free discounts and concessions card available to all New Zealanders who are aged 65 years or over, and those under 65 years receiving New Zealand Superannuation or the Veteran's Pension.
The Veteran SuperGold Card
The Veteran SuperGold Card is a specially branded version of the SuperGold Card, available for those who have served in the New Zealand Armed Forces in a recognised war, emergency or peace keeping operation.
Using the cards
The SuperGold Card is a 'super' convenient, multi-purpose card. It allows its holders access a wide range of business discounts and facilitates easy access to government entitlements and local authority services and concessions. It also
replaces both the Community Services Card and New Zealand Super Card currently issued to New Zealand Superannuation and Veteran's Pension recipients.
