New directory 24 June 08
A new hardcopy SuperGold Card directory will be distributed to SuperGold Card holder households at the start of August.
This directory will include more than 850 business partners with discounts and concessions available at more than 4700 business outlets across New Zealand.
Businesses can be searched on this website at any time.
Budget 2008 SuperGold Card announcements 22 May 2008
The Government has announced $72 million will be provided to fund free off-peak travel on all forms of public transport for cardholders. Details are still being finalised and a launch date has still to be announced.
A further $18 million is available over the next four years, to boost the subsidy for hearing aids. From 1 October 2008, the subsidy for hearing aids for SuperGold Card holders will increase from $198 to $500. The increased subsidy will be available to those who have their hearing aids fitted on or after 1 October 2008.
SuperGold Card reaches 4000 business partner outlets 9 May 2008
The Government's SuperGold Card programme now has more than 4000 business partner outlets offering a large range of discounts and concessions to over half a million New Zealanders.
These 4000 business partner outlets at more than 800 business partners who are contributing to the programme.
Cardholders are encouraged to search the directory on this website for the full range of discounts and concessions now available for cardholders. Cardholders are also encouraged to present their cards where ever they see Cards Welcome stickers to receive discounts and concessions.
As new business partners join the SuperGold Card their details are added to the SuperGold Card website.
These business partners join an impressive list of New Zealand businesses already offering discounted services and products to cardholders.
